T.J. Puchyr has made an agreement to expand Rick Ware Racing into a three-car team by 2027, according to a report from the Associated Press. Puchyr, a former owner at Spire Motorsports, has a track record of success in the NASCAR garage. The deal would keep Cody Ware, Rick Ware’s son, as one of the drivers for RWR. Currently, RWR runs one full-time, charted car and is leasing another charter to RFK Racing. Despite RWR’s current standings, Puchyr is optimistic about building a competitive organization with the team. The unfolding of this deal in the coming months will be closely watched by fans and insiders alike.
